About Us
BUILT FROM COURAGE, CARE AND A DIFFERENT WAY OF SEEING
Sisuvalo was not passed down through generations. It began with a decision to build a life closer to animals, nature and what truly matters. Our family moved north and eventually found our home in Pello, Finnish Lapland — where we are creating the farm we once only imagined.
Today, Sisuvalo is home to cows, horses, donkeys, pigs, chickens and wolfdogs. We produce fresh milk and handcrafted farm products, welcome people through our farm shop and experiences, and create space for deeper connection through Within the Herd. We are still growing, learning and building — guided by respect for animals, honesty in farming and the belief that a farm can nourish more than the body.
WHAT GUIDES US
We are not trying to become the biggest farm. We want to build one where animals are respected, food is produced honestly and people can reconnect with where it comes from.

Our animals are not simply part of the farm — they shape it. Their health, comfort, natural behaviour and individual personalities guide the decisions we make every day.
HONEST FARMING
We believe in openness about how our animals live, how our food is produced and the challenges that farming brings. We do not claim perfection — we keep learning and improving.
